About JCOR Mechanical
JCOR owners, superintendents, foremen and project managers have hundreds of years of combined industry experience. Many of our projects are unique in complexity and design. We pride ourselves in being able to complete even the most difficult jobs successfully, on time and within budget. This is also reflected in the fact that we have a very low change order percentage. Every job is thoroughly reviewed before the proposal is submitted. Once the job is under way, every effort is made to control costs. Only 8% of our projects have necessitated change orders and of these, most amounts have been less than 5% of the total contract amount. In fact, we often make value engineering suggestions to owners that save them money and result in more efficient systems.
Normally, we do not request change order additional money unless:
- The Owner or Engineer desire a change
- If a change from the plans or specifications is deemed necessary to achieve desired results
JCOR Mechanical is a member of the Mechanical Contractors Association of America. Our affiliation with Plumbers Local Union No. 3 and Pipefitters Local Union No. 208 ensures that our workforce is highly trained in installation and safety.
